Lee Bird is an expert at navigating and understanding the complex world of credit union IT security. Lee has a wealth of industry knowledge, developed over a 30-year career working in IT. Lee works closely with credit unions to help them implement technology to meet compliance requirements and enhance their credit union security.
In 1989, Lee founded his business to provide network support services, an evolving technology at the time. This business evolved into Btech, and beginning in 2000, the sole focus has been to provide affordable managed IT security services for credit unions. Lee is responsible for the development of new security services, often in response to credit union audit findings.
When away from the office, Lee keeps busy by being actively involved with volunteer positions and outdoor activities. Lee is an avid cyclist and has raced bicycles for many years, specializing in endurance and gravel races.
