Dr. Cervantes Lee
About this speaker
Cervantes Lee is a USC Education Doctor (August 2021) with dissertation topic in creating the multi-unit fast-casual restaurant curriculum for UNLV Hospitality College. The new program is gifted by the co-founders of Panda Express. His research interest focuses on restaurant concept growth & real estate, and restaurant business analytics. He is one of the co-organizers for RMDS Restaurant Business Analytics Competition in 4Q 2021. He has passion for tech-enhanced operations in housing, restaurant and education field.
He has acquired $12 billion assets over 18 years principal investment career at China Visionary Group, Redbridge Student Housing, Panda Express, Peking University Founder Group, CBRE Global Investors, and AIG Investment. He received an M.S. Degree in Real Estate Development from MIT (2008), an MBA in Finance (1999) and a BA in Economics (1997) from National Taiwan University. He spent two years as the second lieutenant of transportation in Taiwan Navy. He served as President of MIT Club of Southern California in 2018. He is a licensed real estate broker in California and has all five professional designations from International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He lives in West Covina with his wife and two youth boys.
